Luis Carlos Pacheco Jimenez is an experienced R&D engineer with a solid background in electrical engineering and control systems. Currently employed at Chloride since May 2014, Luis specializes in research and development. Previously, at Leroy Somer from June 2011 to May 2014, Luis contributed to the electro-technical design and optimization of low-voltage alternators. Luis also worked at GE Power Conversion from September 2007 to June 2011 as an R&D control engineer, focusing on the design and development of new electrotechnical systems. Earlier experience includes a project at GE Vernova's Gas Power Control Solutions & Services in 2007, which involved simulation and analysis of control systems. Luis holds multiple engineering degrees, including a Master's research degree in electric energy processing and an engineering degree in electrical engineering and command systems from UTBM, as well as an electrical engineering degree from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito.
