James Niergarth is an experienced professional in environmental science and surveying, currently serving as a Field Surveyor at Choice One Engineering Corp. since November 2020. With extensive prior experience at Tetra Tech as an Environmental Scientist/Hydrographer from May 2013 to November 2020, and various roles with NOAA focusing on marine research and mapping, Niergarth has developed a solid expertise in hydrographic surveying and data processing. Additional experience includes work as a Staff Auditor for the US EPA Office of Inspector General and as an Assistant Swim Coach while pursuing studies at the College of Charleston. Niergarth holds a degree in Economics-Accounting from Claremont McKenna College and has furthered education at the College of Charleston.
