Choice Schools Associates
Jori Koss is an experienced educator with a strong focus on special education and instructional coaching. Currently serving as an Instructional Coach and Special Education Teacher at Choice Schools Associates since August 2013, Jori has worked extensively with students in a Montessori setting, providing support for students with varying special education needs. Prior experience includes teaching middle school at MIChoice, LLC, where Jori prepared students for transitions from Montessori to traditional high school environments, and serving as a special education teacher at MiChoice Schools, where responsibilities included creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with classroom teachers on behavior plans. Jori began a career in education at Muskegon Public Schools, working with early intervention classrooms and holding long-term substitute roles. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on special education, all earned at Grand Valley State University.
