Ren Matthews is an experienced design professional with a robust background in art direction and graphic design. Currently serving as Design Manager at CHOICE since August 2012, Ren previously worked as a Freelance Art Director for ACP Books and CustomMade Media in early 2012. Ren's extensive experience includes roles as Art Director for BBC Good Food Magazine and Australian Table Magazine from 2007 to 2011, Deputy Art Director for Australian Good Taste Magazine at NewsLifeMedia from 2004 to 2007, and Art Director for Japan Wine Challenge Magazine at Brown & Co from 2001 to 2004. Ren began the career as a Senior Graphic Designer at NPG Media / Ignite Digital Design from 1997 to 2001 and started as a Graphic Designer at Optus Vision from 1996 to 1997. Ren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Politics from Griffith University, earned between 1990 and 1992.
