Rik van Toor has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Rik began their career as a Medewerker Verkoopklaar at Albert Heijn, where they were responsible for restocking shelves and other duties. In 2016, they moved to Econosto, where they worked as a Data Management Employee, writing text generators and helping to identify and classify data. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at CPMFactory, where they helped fix bugs, implement features, and increase security. Rik also worked as a Teaching Assistant/Code Reviewer at Universiteit Utrecht. In 2020, they began working as a Haskell Developer at Chordify - tune into chords.
Rik van Toor attended IJsselcollege from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained a VWO degree in Natuur & Techniek. Rik then went on to Utrecht University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computerwetenschappen from 2014 to 2017, followed by a Master of Science - MS in Computing Science from 2017 to 2020.
