Praveen Amancherla

Praveen Amancherla is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading engineering and product teams across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology and Product Officer at ChowNow, Praveen previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Merit, where significant contributions included launching a microservices-based SaaS platform, deploying a modern data stack, and defining the company’s AI strategy. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at Quisk, Inc., where modernization efforts transitioned legacy systems to a cloud-native platform, and Director of Engineering at Visa, where Praveen led the architecture of Visa Checkout and played a pivotal role in the acquisition of CyberSource. Praveen holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
