Lee Pachter is a Senior Physician Scientist and Director of Mentorship & Professional Development at ChristianaCare since November 2019, with extensive experience in pediatric healthcare and research. Pachter serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, overseeing editorial policy and managing the peer review process. As a Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Pachter conducts research focused on social determinants of health and health disparities. Previous roles include Director of the Health Policy Program at Jefferson College of Population Health, Director of Community & Clinical Integration at Nemours, and Chief of the Section of General Pediatrics at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Pachter has also held editorial positions and professorships at the University of Connecticut, where a background in Anthropology was established with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
