Selnes joined Church Mutual as a regional representative in 2003. In 2012, she was promoted to division manager. Five years later, Janet was promoted again to regional sales manager. During her time in sales, she earned her CIC, CRM and CPCU designations and has played a pivotal role in Church Mutual’s sales growth and market expansion.
Selnes earned her bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in religious studies from Linfield College in 2009. She earned an MBA from Marylhurst University in 2014.
She supports several nonprofit entities ranging from dog rescue groups to Project Linus, an organization that works with foster children and terminally ill children.
