Maranda started their career as a Human Resource Intern at Maryhurst in 2014, where they gained experience in interviewing techniques and completed various data entry and research tasks. In 2009, they became an Office Manager at EassySet Decorators, where they managed company email and coordinated trade shows. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a Medical Receptionist and HR Assistant at Gailor Animal Hospital, handling customer relations and office operations. In 2016, they joined LG&E and KU Energy LLC as a Staffing Associate, and in 2018, they joined Churchill Downs Incorporated, starting as a Benefits and Compensation Analyst and later progressing to the role of Manager Benefits and Compensation. Currently, Maranda holds the position of Director HR - Benefits, Compensation, & Key Initiatives at Churchill Downs Incorporated.
