Catalin Codita has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Catalin began their career as an FX Trader at Turkish Bank-Romania in 1998 before moving on to work as an FX Trader at Citibank Romania from 1999 to 2000. In 2000, they joined CIBC Mellon as an Analyst and worked there until 2004. Catalin then worked as a Treasury Analyst and later as a Senior Treasury Analyst at CIBC Mellon from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they became an Assistant Portfolio Manager and Project Manager in the Treasury department at CIBC Mellon before taking on the role of Capital Markets FX Product Manager/e-trading/currency hedging in 2010. Currently, they serve as the Director of Capital Markets at CIBC Mellon. Additionally, they were also involved in the Scarborough Tennis Federation as the Vice President of Junior Development from 2011 to 2012.

Catalin Codita, H.B.Comm has a diverse education history. Catalin first attended the Academia de Studii Economice din București from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Stock Exchange. During the same time period, they also studied at Titu Maiorescu University, completing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance & Banking. Additionally, from 1992 to 1995, Codita attended Spiru Haret University in Romania, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise.

In terms of certifications, Codita has obtained several credentials. In 2016, they received the Global Professional Tennis Coaches Association Level C certification from GPTCA AG. Catalin also holds certifications such as the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute, Certified On-court assessor from the International Tennis Federation, Certified Tennis Coach Level 1 from Tennis Canada, Coaching Certification Level 1 from the Coaching Association of Canada, and High Performance Tennis Coach from the Romanian Tennis Federation.
