Johann Lau has extensive work experience in the financial industry spanning over 30 years. Johann'smost recent position was as Head of Fund Accounting and Fund Administration, Vice President at CIBC Mellon since June 2017. Prior to that, they served as Vice President, Investment Administration at Sprott Asset Management LP starting in June 2012. From December 2010 to June 2012, Johann worked in the Governance & Oversight role at Gluskin Sheff + Associates. Johann also held the position of Director, Fund Accounting at Stone & Co. Johann also worked as an Assistant Vice President from 2000 to 2002 and as a Senior Manager in Investment Accounting from 1997 to 2000.

Earlier in their career, Johann worked as an Assistant Manager in Fund Accounting at CIBC Securities Inc. from 1994 to 1996 and as a Financial Analyst at Dean Witter Reynolds from 1989 to 1990.

Johann Lau obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance from the University at Buffalo, completing their education from 1985 to 1989.
