Andy Majury

Andy Majury, CTS-D, serves as the Steering Committee Lead for the AV User Group, a non-profit community of over 1,500 audiovisual professionals, since January 2023. In addition, Andy holds the position of Senior AV Engineer at CIBC, contributing to the company's A/V-as-a-Service initiative. With extensive experience spanning over three decades in audiovisual sales, design, and integration, Andy has previously worked as an AV Guy at Genesis Integration Inc. and as an Audio Visual Design Consultant at Audability Inc., where responsibilities included leading technology management and consulting teams. Andy's career also includes roles at Genesis Integration Inc. and various other companies, consistently focusing on system integration and solutions. Academic credentials include a Diploma in Audio Engineering from Trebas Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Huron University.
