Kirsten Tang

Kirsten Tang is a Senior Research Associate specializing in Molecular Trait Discovery at Cibus since November 2022. Previously, Kirsten held various roles at CB Therapeutics from October 2018 to October 2022, including Senior Research Associate, Research Associate, and Intern. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Pogliano Lab, UCSD Division of Biological Sciences, where significant contributions included determining antimicrobial concentrations and generating antibiotic-resistant mutants. Kirsten also worked as a Lab Assistant, Volunteer at UC San Diego Health, and Lifeguard for the UCSD Recreation Department. Educationally, Kirsten earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego from 2014 to 2018.
