Heather's career began at Nortel as a hardware designer, and extensive experience includes work as an Assembly and Integration Engineer at the National Research Council. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
