Karan Goel is a seasoned engineering professional with a strong background in power electronics and hardware design. Currently serving as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer at Ciena since September 2019, Karan leads Power Electronics & Power Integrity for Routing & Switching platforms. Prior to this role, Karan held various positions at Enercon Technologies Ltd. from July 2013 to September 2019, including Deputy Manager in R&D and Engineer in R&D, where power supply design training was completed at Enercon HQ in Israel. Karan also worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Vihaan Networks from July 2011 to June 2013 and as a Research Engineer at the National Physical Laboratory from July 2010 to June 2011, contributing to the design of an analog signal conditioning and control circuit. Karan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University, completed in 2010, and has a high school education from Delhi Public School Noida.
