Matthew Gruppo has extensive experience in investment research and portfolio management. Matthew started their career as a Summer Analyst at GLC & Co in 2006 and later worked as a Summer Research Analyst at Diamondback Capital Management in 2007. Matthew then joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Analyst in 2009 and worked in the Credit Portfolio Group. In 2012, they joined AlliancePartners LLC as an Associate in Investment Research. Currently, they are a Managing Director at CIFC Asset Management, where they are responsible for evaluating primary and secondary credit investments. Throughout their career, Matthew has successfully managed performing and stressed portfolios across various sectors such as Oil & Gas, Financials, Business Services, and Consumer.

Matthew Gruppo attended Fairfield College Preparatory School from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges from 2005 to 2009.
