Basil Zain has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Basil started their career in 2014 as a Technician in Aluminum Facade Design at Alfa tech aluminium facade technique, where they prepared engineering models and drawings for aluminum facades. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Architectural Technician at كتب هاني محمد عسيري للاستشارات الهندسية HMA, collaborating with architects to create engineering drawings and using software like 3ds max for building design. In 2017, Basil worked as a Sales Advisor at Castamo Furniture, assisting customers and creating interior design models using 3ds max. Basil then transitioned into sales roles, working as a Customer Service Representative at Voxdata and as a Sales Agent at TTEC. In 2019, Basil became a Seller at Mobilia Canada before joining IKEA in 2020 as a Visual Merchandising Collaborator. Currently, they work at CIMA+ as a CAD Project Designer.
Basil Zain's education history starts in 2008 when they enrolled at Jami't Al-Ba'ath for a degree in Génie architectural, specializing in Techniques/technicien en architecture. Basil completed this program in 2013.
In 2019, Basil attended Cegep du Vieux Montreal and pursued an AEC in Modélisation des données du bâtiment – REVIT, which they completed in 2020.
Following this, from 2020 to 2022, Basil attended École des métiers du Sud-Ouest-de-Montréal (ÉMSOM) to obtain a DEP in Dessin de bâtiment.
In 2021, Basil began studying at the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) to earn a Certification pour les qualifications académiques en architecture. Basil is expected to complete this program in 2022.
Additionally, in 2021, Basil enrolled at Athabasca University to pursue a degree in Architectural Practice Canada, focusing on architecture.
