Dan Timms (C.Tech) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dan started their career in 2003 as a Manufacturing Engineer at Husky Injection Molding Systems, where they focused on implementing a Continuous Improvement system. In 2007, they joined AECOM as a Project Coordinator, working on large scale Transit Facilities and handling design coordination of building systems. In 2014, they joined CIMA+ as a Manager, Project Delivery, Infrastructure, where they led the Infrastructure group and specialized in Water and waste water projects. Dan then progressed to become a Partner/Senior Manager at CIMA+ in 2020, and eventually Partner/Director/Buildings Engineering in September 2021. Dan's expertise lies in inter-discipline design coordination, establishment of client CADD standards, and implementing Lean Manufacturing and Lean Engineering principles for meaningful change.
Dan Timms (C.Tech) attended Durham College from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technologist. Dan'sfield of study during this time was focused on Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician. Additionally, in November 2002, they obtained the certification of C.Tech from the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.
