Meryem Akbaoui, CFA, currently serves as the Lead Business Partner - Finance at CIMA+ since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Financial Planning Analyst at Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain from September 2020 to April 2023 and as a Budget Planning Analyst at CGI from January 2017 to September 2020. Meryem has also held positions at Banque Nationale du Canada and BNP Paribas, where responsibilities included budget establishment, variance analysis, and management reporting. Earlier career experience includes work as a Fixed Income & Reporting Analyst at WINEO Gestion - Asset Management. Meryem is pursuing a CPA designation from CPA Canada and holds a Certificat de préparation CPA from Université TÉLUQ and an Engineer’s Degree in Statistics & Applied Economics from Institut National de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée.
