Steven Hamer is a Junior Professional in Engineering at CIMA+ since July 2021, specializing in designing car charging stations, wind farms, and solar parks, as well as conducting various engineering analyses such as electric arc studies, load flow analysis, and harmonic analysis. Previous experience includes roles as an Engineering Technician at Luminis, where Steven created Solidworks parts and assembly instructions, and as a Whitewater Kayaking Instructor at Vanier College, teaching college-aged students basic kayaking skills and safety. Steven also worked as a Sales Consultant at SAIL Plein Air, advising customers on outdoor equipment, and held multiple positions in outdoor and recreational settings, including as an Outdoor Education Assistant at CEGEP - John Abbott College and a Park Warden for Ville de Laval. Notably, Steven served as a Baseball Umpire for Baseball Québec, managing games and ensuring adherence to regulations. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Concordia University, complemented by degrees in Engineering Technologies and Science from CEGEP - John Abbott College.
