Lilian Gichuru is a seasoned professional in the field of plant breeding and agriculture, currently serving as a Seed System Specialist for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since June 2023. Previously, Lilian held the position of Program Officer for SeedSAT at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) from September 2015 to June 2023, following an earlier role as Associate Program Officer. Lilian began a career at the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute, where a focus was placed on maize breeding as a Research Officer from September 2005 to August 2015.
