Prior to this position, Bavo held various roles at ESAS NV/SA from July 2013 to December 2019, including COO, Business Unit Manager of Professional Services, Field Manager, and Controller. Bavo's experience also includes ownership of IMAS from January 2002 to January 2006 and a junior position at KPMG Belgium from 2001 to 2002. The educational background includes an Executive Master Class in Controllership from Vlerick Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from HOGENT, among other management and leadership programs.
