Position Overview:
The medical imaging analyst will provide quality control, image measurements and annotations,
and other associated image analyses to further AI development for the next generation
cardiovascular post-processing solution. By working in collaboration with Circle’s AI team and
other clinical and scientific advisors, the medical imaging analyst will develop data strategy,
quality control, standard operating procedures (SOP), annotations, measurements, and other
required data labeling for machine learning (ML) development. The medical imaging analyst will
be part of the dynamic process of bringing advanced technologies in medical imaging to clinical
use. This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager – AI Development.
General Responsibilities:
• Lead data assessment and quality control, ensuring data integrity and consistency for ML
development and regulatory submissions.
• Guide data annotation tools development and feedback on software prototypes.
• Research and develop SOPs for medical imaging data labeling and annotations.
• Data labeling and annotations of cardiac MR and CT measurements for ML development.
• Research novel procedures in medical image analysis/visualization and develop validation
strategies for new AI/ML products.
• Perform analysis and validation on AI automation results.
• Collaborate with members of the AI/ML, software development and product teams to bring
best-in-class AI tools to hospitals around the world.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Experience in working with MR, CT, ultrasound and/or other medical images
• Experience with image analysis or annotation software
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and high attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Beneficial Skills/Experience:
• Hands on experience in the analysis of cardiac MR or CT data
• Familiarity with regulatory processes for medical devices
Educational Requirements:
• Radiographer or bachelor’s degree in medical or biomedical sciences or engineering
