Matthew Conover

Matthew Conover is a seasoned professional in enterprise risk management with extensive experience in compliance and regulatory risk. Currently serving as Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Circle since December 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Head of Conduct Risk (Chief Ethics Officer) and Managing Director at State Street from September 2012 to November 2023. Notable achievements include leading a global team to manage conflicts of interest and regulatory risk, restructuring teams for enhanced accountability, and overseeing compliance program methodologies. Matthew also holds experience from State Street Global Advisors and Navigant Consulting, where responsibilities included regulatory risk assessments and compliance program implementations. Matthew earned a BS in Finance from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, and an MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
