Mr. Canfield is a Managing Director of private equity firm GTCR LLC and currently co-heads GTCR’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications investment team. Mr. Canfield joined GTCR in 1992 and became a Principal in 1997. From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Canfield worked in the Corporate Finance Department at Kidder, Peabody and Company. Mr. Canfield has served as a Director of Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. since July 2012 and is the Chairman of its Nominating & Governance Committee. Mr. Canfield currently serves on several private company boards.
He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.B.A. in finance with High Honors from the Honors Business Program at the University of Texas.
