Rakesh Kumar is Chief Information Security Officer and Enterprise Architect for Cision. He is responsible for developing security strategies, setting policy, managing risk and implementing security programs for the enterprise. Kumar is also accountable for managing architectural standards, reference architecture and related technology governance processes. He leads the Information Security Office in developing a comprehensive security program for Cision globally.
Prior to joining Cision, Kumar held the Chief Architect position at S&P Capital IQ, where he established and led Enterprise Architecture and Identity and Access Management in Cyber Security and got recognized with iCMG Enterprise & IT Architecture Excellence Award. He has over 20 years’ experience in information security, enterprise architecture, and risk management.
Kumar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mysore University, India and maintains CISSP certification.
