François Brochu is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in various leadership roles across government and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest since 2022, François previously held significant positions including Deputy Chief of Staff at the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur du Québec, Senior Advisor at the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec, and Chief of Staff at the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec. François has also contributed as a consultant in communication strategies and political campaigns, as well as in establishing communications departments at multiple institutions such as Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal. François holds a Bachelor's degree in communications from Université de Montréal and a marketing certificate from HEC Montréal.

The Integrated Health and Social Services Center of Montérégie-Ouest is the result of the amalgamation of four health and social services centers (CSSS) as well as five rehabilitation centers.
