Cesar Perez is an accomplished professional with a robust background in compliance and auditing. Currently serving as the Director of SOX/FDICIA Compliance at CIT since October 2017, Cesar also held the position of Vice President of SOX/FDICIA Compliance and Monitoring. Prior to this role, Cesar was the Senior Audit Manager at CIT Group from September 2012 to October 2017, and earlier served as an Audit Leader at Southern Community Bank and Trust from July 2009 to September 2012. Cesar's career began at BB&T as an Internal Auditor from May 2002 to June 2009 and at Arthur Andersen, LLP as a Staff Auditor from September 2001 to May 2002. Cesar holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
