Jean-Paul Lam

Jean-Paul Lam has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jean-Paul is currently working as a Business Manager - Arbitrage at Citadel Securities since November 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Global Markets eTrading - Market Access Production Services at BNP Paribas CIB from August 2018 to October 2020, where they played a crucial role in integrating data analytics into decision making, implementing continuous improvement, and contributing to the development of the Prime Brokerage platform.

Jean-Paul also worked at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB from 2014 to 2018, where they served as the Regional Head of Market Access Project and Release Management. During their tenure, they achieved significant improvements in process efficiency, managed project portfolios, and collaborated with stakeholders for successful project delivery. Jean-Paul also held the position of Market Access Project and Release Manager at SGCIB from December 2014 to February 2016, where their responsibilities included leading and supporting the Market Access team, providing expert analysis for strategic decision-making, and driving front-to-back projects.

Before their tenure at BNP Paribas and SGCIB, Jean-Paul worked at FIS (SunGard Global Trading) as an Exchange Project Manager from April 2011 to November 2014, and as a Software Analyst from September 2008 to March 2011. Jean-Paul started their career as a Software Engineer at Schlumberger in 2008 and Thales in 2007. Jean-Paul also worked as a Project Manager / Software Developer (Contractor) at Uniteam Communication from 2005 to 2007.
