Jens Zudrop has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jens started their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer at DLR, where they gained expertise in modal analysis. In 2011, they joined the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Selforganization, where they completed their Master's thesis. Jens then pursued a PhD at both RWTH Aachen University and the German Research School for Simulation Sciences, where they worked as a PHD Student and Research Engineer from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they had a brief stint as a Visiting PhD Student at Ecole polytechnique féderale de Lausanne. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Sauber Motorsport, starting as a CFD Software Developer and later being promoted to Senior CFD Software Developer. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Citadel Securities starting from 2020.

Jens Zudrop pursued their education in a sequential manner, focusing on computer science and scientific computing. Jens first attended DHBW Mannheim from 2005 to 2008 and obtained a Diplom (BA) in Computer Science with a specialization in computational engineering. After that, they enrolled at The University of Göttingen, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Computer Science with a particular emphasis on scientific computing. Jens completed their master's program in 2011. Later, Jens Zudrop pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Scientific Computing from RWTH Aachen University. Jens successfully completed their doctoral program in 2015.
