Ting-Wu Chin (Rudy)

Ting-Wu (Rudy) Chin has a strong background in research and software engineering. Ting-Wu (Rudy) is currently working as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities since July 2021. Prior to this, Rudy has gained research experience through internships at Facebook AI, where they worked as a Research Intern from September to December 2020, and from May to August 2020. Ting-Wu (Rudy) also interned at Facebook Reality Labs as a Research Intern from May to August 2019. In addition, Rudy has interned at Microsoft as a Research Intern from May to August 2018. Before that, they completed a Software Engineer Internship at Taiwan AILabs from May to July 2017, where they contributed to the development of the Face Swap open source project and improved its performance. Ting-Wu (Rudy) also served as a Teaching Assistant at National Chiao Tung University from February to June 2016. Starting in July 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at MediaTek Inc., where they played a role in developing the DAG API and integrating the Google test framework into the sanity checking system. Lastly, Rudy worked as a Student Brand Manager for Red Bull from February 2013 to January 2015.

Ting-Wu (Rudy) Chin has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and electrical and computer engineering. Ting-Wu (Rudy) obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completing their studies from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at National Chiao Tung University, from 2015 to 2017. Ting-Wu (Rudy)'sBachelor's Degree, also in Computer Science, was earned at the same university from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Rudy has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In December 2015, they earned a Certificate of VMFive Lab Program from VMFive. Moreover, they participated in the International Summer School on SoC Design offered by the National Program for Intelligent Electronics Application Processor Consortium in September 2015.
