Thomas Smith

Thomas Smith, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in quantitative development and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Developer at Citadel since March 2022, Thomas is integral to the Quantitative Portfolio Analytics team in the Global Fixed Income fund. Prior to this, Thomas worked at Barclays as a Quant Developer, focusing on developing financial libraries and a Net Interest Income forecasting engine. At Brooksbridge Capital LLP, Thomas held the role of Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, responsible for strategic firm management. Additional experience includes positions as a Market Analyst at Gazprom Marketing & Trading, where proprietary models for natural gas forecasting were developed, and as a Fixed Income Researcher at AHL, where trading algorithms were designed and managed. Thomas began a career in finance as a Graduate Quant at Man Group, contributing to risk management and quantitative analysis efforts. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
