Yong Kai Wong has diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Yong Kai started off as an Associate General Counsel at APG Asset Management Asia, where they gained broad experience in various areas such as real estate, infrastructure, and private equity transactions across Asia Pacific. Yong Kai then worked as a Managing Director and Co-General Counsel at CITIC Capital, overseeing special projects. Following that, they became the Executive Vice Chairman at GNC. Currently, they serve as the General Manager at Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co., Ltd. In addition to their corporate roles, Yong Kai Wong has also served as a member of various boards and committees, including the Regulatory Committee at APREA and the Professional Advisory Board at the Asian Institute of Financial Law.

Yong Kai Wong's education history starts in 2002 when they attended the University of Cambridge and obtained a degree in LLM (Commercial Law) with first-class honors. Yong Kai then pursued an MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2007 to 2009, focusing on finance.
