Sanjay Gurnani

Sanjay Gurnani serves as the Global Head of In-Business Portfolio Risk Management for Citi Wealth Lending since July 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Managing Director at Mizuho, where responsibility encompassed counterparty credit exposure and risk governance for US operations. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Sanjay was a risk executive overseeing counterparty credit risk management for equities and traded products across the Americas and EMEA, leading teams of up to 25 members. Previous roles at Bank of America included senior vice president positions focused on risk management for asset managers and corporate portfolios, as well as extensive project finance experience across multiple regions including Australia and Asia. Sanjay holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
