Stanley Thomas

Stanley Thomas has extensive experience in data privacy and compliance, currently serving as the Global Head of International Data Transfer and Director of Data Privacy at Citi since October 2014. Stanley has been pivotal in enhancing Cross Border Data Clearance operations and managing Citigroup’s Cross Border Data Transfer Program across over 90 countries, focusing on regulatory compliance and process digitization. Prior roles include leadership positions at Oracle and various compliance and risk management roles at Citi and other notable institutions. Stanley's educational background includes executive training from renowned institutions such as the University of California, Berkeley, Yale School of Management, and Columbia Business School, complemented by a B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur.
