Kenji Fujishima has extensive experience in the field of film criticism. Kenji started their career as a Film Critic at The L Magazine in March 2015. Kenji then went on to work as a Film Critic for various publications such as Brooklyn Magazine, Village Voice, and Paste Magazine. In August 2015, they joined The Playlist as a Copy Editor and Film Critic. Kenji also worked as a Film Critic for Slant Magazine and was a Deputy Editor at Movie Mezzanine from October 2014 to February 2017. From December 2015 to September 2017, they were a Film Critic at Paste Magazine and the Village Voice. In June 2017, they joined TheaterMania as a Copy Editor and News Writer, a role they held until March 2020. In 2020, they became a Film Critic at Book & Film Globe and an Analyst in Central Operations at Citizen.
