John Woods is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at Citizens since February 2017, John also holds a position as Board Member and Audit Committee Chair at Prove Identity, Inc. since November 2021. Previously, John was the Chief Financial Officer for the Americas at MUFG from July 2013 to February 2017, overseeing corporate strategy, capital planning, and financial operations across North and South America. Other notable roles include Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at Union Bank and various leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase and Freddie Mac. John began their career as a Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP after earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia in 1986.
