Maxwell Venetos is currently a Data and Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer at Citrine Informatics since February 2024. Previously, Maxwell served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on computational materials science in pursuit of a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. Thesis work involved solving molecular inverse problems using machine learning techniques. Prior experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Ohio State University, where Maxwell modeled structure-spectrum relationships in silica glasses and developed a signal processing library, and conducted research internships at Wright Patterson Air Force, investigating cholesteric liquid crystal elastomers and their phase boundaries. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The Ohio State University.
