Linda Gerull

Linda Gerull serves as the City CIO and Executive Director of the Department of Technology for the City and County of San Francisco since July 2017, leading a team of 250 employees and managing a $160 million annual budget. With a strong background in technology leadership, Gerull previously worked as the Information Technology Director for Pierce County, WA, where oversight included 132 staff and a $32 million budget while focusing on digital strategy and cloud technology. Gerull’s career also includes roles at Intergraph Corporation, where responsibilities spanned sales support and consulting, and as a Senior Consultant with UGC Consulting. Earlier experience includes GIS management and civil engineering positions at various organizations. Gerull holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
