Lara Simon currently serves as the Chief Solicitor and Intellectual Property Advisor for the City of Baltimore since November 2013. Prior to this role, Lara worked as a Contract Attorney for various agencies from October 2009 to November 2013 and held positions as a Civil Litigation Associate at Lord & Whip from May 2009 to September 2009 and Goldman & Minton, P.C. from September 2006 to December 2008. Lara began legal career as a Law Clerk at the Second Judicial District Court in Nevada from August 2005 to August 2006 and at the General Litigation Division of the United States Air Force from May 2004 to April 2005. Educational achievements include a Juris Doctor degree from the American University Washington College of Law (2002-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Economics from the University of Maryland (1999-2001), along with studies at Penn State University (1997-1998).
