Joannes Wong, MBA, RPP, MCIP, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of Long Range Planning for the City of Beaumont since March 2018. Prior to this role, Joannes Wong worked as a Consultant at JW Consulting and held the position of Manager, Planning Advisory with the Government of Alberta. Joannes Wong has extensive experience in urban planning, having worked as a Senior Planner, Project Manager/Strategic Consultant, and Planner at the City of Edmonton from 1996 to 2008 and as Community Development Manager at Winnipeg River Brokenhead Community Futures. Joannes Wong holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of City Planning from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta.
