Alexandria Bingham, CMC, MiPMC has extensive experience in public administration and education. Currently serving as the City Clerk for the City of Birmingham, Michigan since March 2020, Alexandria has also worked as an Elections Specialist in Commerce Township since January 2007. In addition to municipal roles, Alexandria has been a swimming coach at Deer Lake Athletic Club since April 2013, promoting safety and education in aquatic programs. Previous positions include Deputy Clerk in Rose Township and First Grade Teacher in both Walled Lake Consolidated Schools and Huron Valley Schools. Alexandria's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University.

Birmingham is vibrant and prosperous, with a population of almost 20,000. Covering only 4.73 square miles, our community is able to maintain the feel of a small town, while experiencing the benefits and amenities of an affluent urban area.
