Brenda Hernandez serves as the Executive Director of People and Culture for the City of Boston since January 2023. Previously, Brenda held prominent roles at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, including Chief of Equity and Engagement and Vice President of Equity and Engagement from October 2019 to June 2022. Brenda's experience in diversity and inclusion extends back to positions such as Associate Director for Diversity & Inclusion at Boston University School of Law and Assistant Director of Admissions at Pace University School of Law. Brenda pursued advanced training in equity and inclusion through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the Center for Transformation and Change. Brenda earned a JD from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and a BA in Women's Studies from Mount Holyoke College.
