Rocky Henkel currently serves as the Community Development Director and Director of Streets and Stormwater for the City of Broken Arrow since May 2018. Prior to this role, Rocky held the position of Street Superintendent at the City of Norman from October 2017 to May 2018 and at the City of La Vista from August 2016 to October 2017. Rocky’s experience includes serving as a Project Manager for the City of Omaha from July 2008 to August 2016 and for United Engineering from April 2006 to July 2008. Earlier in the career, Rocky was a Survey Crew Chief at the Nebraska Department of Transportation from July 1999 to April 2006. Rocky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Nebraska at Omaha between 1996 and 2002.
