Michael S. O'Brien

Michael S. O'Brien is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the City of Cincinnati since 2017, Michael contributes to the public health and environmental efforts of the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati. Prior to this role, Michael operated as a Certified Public Accountant from 2009 to 2017, providing a range of financial services. Additionally, from 1998 to 2008, Michael was the Controller and later an Account Manager at Foundation Building Materials, where responsibilities included financial management and customer project oversight. Michael also founded and led O'Brien Brewing Company, Inc. as President from 1992 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and studies in Financial Planning at Xavier University.
