Ryan Ashby currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Emergency Preparedness in Coastal Communities (EPICC), a nonprofit organization focused on lifesaving training and emergency preparedness in coastal areas globally. Additionally, Ryan has been an Ocean Lifeguard for The City of Encinitas since May 2019, utilizing extensive ocean knowledge to ensure safety for both residents and visitors. Prior experience includes a role as Shift Supervisor at The Baked Bear from October 2016 to December 2019, managing various operational responsibilities. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science with a Minor in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and has also studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
