Jennifer Walker has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Finance for the City of Friendswood since November 2007, after progressing through various roles including Accounting Manager, Budget Manager, and Accountant. Prior to this, Jennifer held the position of Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant at the Galveston County Health District from May 2004 to November 2007. Jennifer's earlier experience includes working as a Staff Auditor/Accountant at Null-Lairson, PC, and as Office Manager at the Galveston County Fresh Water Supply District #6. Educationally, Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an Accounting Emphasis from Texas Woman's University, completed in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, obtained in 2004.
