CITY OF GRAND FORKS
Collin T. Hanson, CNP, serves as a Senior Community Development Planner for the City of Grand Forks, ND, since August 2020 and previously held the position of Community Development Planner. Additionally, Collin is a registered varsity basketball official with the North Dakota High School Activities Association, beginning as a sub-varsity official in 2010. Collin is also involved in the family farming operation, Hanson Farms, focusing on raising wheat and soybeans. Previous roles include Executive Director at Evolve Grand Forks, Unit Monitor at USDA-ARS, Event Coordinator with the North Valley Arts Council, and various positions within higher education governance and nonprofit leadership. Collin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of North Dakota and holds a high school diploma from New Rockford-Sheyenne High School.
