Jeff Gorley

Jeff Gorley is a seasoned public safety professional with extensive experience in leading safety and crime reduction initiatives across various housing authorities. Currently serving as Commissioner for the Safety and Crime Reduction Commission in the City of Jacksonville since January 2023, Jeff Gorley has held significant roles including Director of Public Safety at the Housing Authority of the City of Omaha and the Newark Housing Authority. With a career spanning over 17 years in public safety, Jeff Gorley has been instrumental in overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating crime prevention strategies, and managing emergency responses. Educationally, Jeff Gorley holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Miami Dade College.
