Melissa Long is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as Chief of the Environmental Quality Division for the City of Jacksonville since May 2014. Prior to this role, Melissa worked for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for 13 years, where responsibilities included Program Administrator for Water and ERP and Waste Water Supervisor. Earlier in her career, Melissa was a Process Engineer at Rayonier from May 1998 to April 2001. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University, earned between 1991 and 1994.
